“Most people who find me have already tried everything else.”
Pain is a pattern your nervous system learned
What distinguishes my practice is that it revolves around the human nervous system. Chronic pain and restricted movement are rarely just structural problems. Over years of injury, posture, sport, and stress, the nervous system learns movement patterns that create pain, then defends them.
Slow, precise movements tap the brain’s capacity to form new connections and rewrite those habits. That’s why so many people improve for a while and then relapse: the symptom was quieted, but the pattern never changed. I change the root pattern. This approach has allowed me to resolve stubborn pain that has not responded to other methods for years.
Clinical depth, athletic precision
I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, with clinical rotations in sports performance and orthopedics under a fellowship-trained manual therapist, treating high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and a certified Pilates teacher trained through Polestar, a physical therapy-based Pilates method. I’m also a registered yoga teacher with eight years of teaching, and I hold a BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
A lifetime of movement
I competed as a gymnast for over fifteen years on bars, beam, floor, and vault, and played four years of varsity tennis. Today I train with CAM Dance Company in Davie and I’m an active member of South Florida’s salsa dancing community.
I spent four years living and teaching yoga across Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Guatemala. Today, thanks to the language skills I developed abroad, I treat clients in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
